What shall I do to be SAVED?
Sin is a violation of God's laws, the penalty is death. Every man born of a woman came into sin. We are all born sinners in need of a Saviour. The good news is that the Most High is faithful and merciful to forgive us of our sins but we must be BORN-AGAIN! There are two destinations after a man dies: torment or peace. How one live this life on earth will determine where one spend eternity after this present age/time has passed. The Creator of all things has laid out a plan of salvation for every human, who only needs to accept and receive life or reject and is condemned forever. His plans are carefully detailed in his Word. All are sinners in need of a Saviour. It is necessary to note that the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life. I present to you today LIFE and death, will you choose life?
There is no other way to escape the coming judgement, than to receive Jesus Christ. The only way is to be BORN-AGAIN.
The entire human race has been corrupted, the genes, blood...just as in the days of Noah. What was God's response? The Flood. And he told us that next time this happens, there will be fire -in other words, total destruction-
There is a mystery about being born-again. When you are told that you need to accept Christ to be saved. You may ask, "Save from what?" Well, humanity have been corrupted and the only way to be restored to God's image is by accepting his Son's sacrifice and price paid to redeem us.
The process is this, you die with Christ and raise to life just as Christ rose from the dead.
Jesus is: The Way, the Truth, and the Life.
So, what shall you do to be Saved:
1. BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
Acts 4:12 tells us that, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved".
2. CONFESS with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9 declares, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved".
3. REPENT and BE BAPTIZED in the name of Jesus Christ
Acts 2:38 instructs man to, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost".
4. ENDURE to the end
Matthew 24:13 states, "He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved".
5. CALL on the name of the Lord
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST! GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST! GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST!
Once ETERNITY begins there is no repentance. The word in hebrews 9:27 tells us that It is appointed to man once to die, after death is the judgement.
Jesus Christ gave his life to save you! Will you accept the gift of life today?
Say this PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, thank you for your love for me.
I believe you are my Lord and Saviour.
Forgive me of all my sins and write my name in the book of life.
Cleanse me with your blood.
Today, I give you my life and I surrender all to you.
Thank you for saving my life. Amen!
