Anytime God is about to judge or destroy whether a system, place, or a people (defects), He always does a separation or a taking out. Here in lies the proof of the taking out of God's people spoken of in Matthew chapter 24 verses 40-41 and Luke chapter 17 verses 35-36 before that great and terrible day of the Lord.
Jesus eludes to the events before his second coming as in the days of Noah (read Genesis 6 & 7)and also in the days of Lot (ref. Genesis 19:1-25).
He did make provision for Noah and his family's escape by means of a separation and the locking away of them in the Ark that Noah was obedient in building -this tells us that that we have a work to do in preparing ourselves to go- and God does his part thereafter because he was the one that shut the door of the Ark, Genesis 7:16.
In the case of Lot, he made provision to get them out by sending his holy angel, read about this in Genesis 19.
We see the separation or taking out principle at work. We can trust Most High that he will protect his people and he will and has made provision for our escape.
